Good start and hooked for sure. But..... The casting of the Mi6 agent is lame and forced. She can't be a desk analyst and also charged to go on a field mission totting weapons and only one who can do everything. So her overall irritation makes the viewer Root for the jackal. Great production value though...

Compared to some of the dross being served up recently as tamil action movies, this one is a welcome change. The plot is interesting, the acting is good and production design excellent. The director keeps us glued to the seats. Definitely worth your 2 hours plus.

I don't usually do movie reviews, but thought I'd share my thoughts. Because I was so very impressed and entertained by this movie. This delivers on the cost of the ticket and if you want to be entertained this is it. Nelson is back and no doubt about it. Rajinikanth after many years has got a role that he can perform and gets us invested in his character. Wow that Rajni style that has been missing for years, you get it with interest in this movie. Great production value, Anirudh kills it with his BGM, once again I want to add. All the characters, especially the main villain is well written and acted. The cameos gives goosebumps, especially the Mohan lal entrance.. a clap worthy moment. Would like to see a Mohan lal character spin off.
