First of all I'd like to talk about the lovely cover. It features our God Ganesha, and the book is absolutely gorgeous from the inside with the illustrated map in the beginning of the book.
Our protagonist Taran is confronted by none other than Lord Ganesha while he is running away after snatching his brother's necklace. He is informed that his family has been captured by Preta and he needs to accomplish a serious mission in order to save his family.
Taran learns great lessons and tries to keep faith in himself and in God alike during his dangerous journey.
So this is an adventurous mythological fiction with a great plot and a gripping narration that would engage children and young adults alike.
This is book one in the temple war series and I'm looking forward for more.
