Wow ! What a show, I sit profoundly moved by this series. I learned so much from this captivating show about life for the Villagers in France during the occupation, how it affected their daily lives before and after, and also how it affected the upcoming generation. I was surprised to learn that things stayed so unsettled (at best) there for so long even afterwards, and that there were so many factions going head to head inside France throughout this ordeal. This series did not sugarcoat anything and I will be thinking back on this show for a long, long, time to come..
