Flawlessly Written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, this love letter to Belfast is beautifully photographed and brilliantly acted. (Judi Dench is at the top of her game), this semi-autobiographical story is set in the late 60's amidst "the troubles" but it is not really about the religious clashes but rather about the importance of family and finding your own way. A top notch cast makes the film compelling to watch and newcomer, Jude Hill, will steal your heart. Although the WOKE generation most likely won't find it politically appealing, this film should capture top prize at this years' Oscar's. A small screen diminishes its power so be sure to see it in the cinema. Bravo Sir Kenneth!
