This film always stuck with me since it first came out. Jeff Bridges never could do wrong .... Still cant. Karen Allen certainly had her moment and was on a roll here....she was wonderfull. The tech stuff and graphics looked super dated - especially the Norad screen . i played pac man on one just like it. But it was visionary in that there was a scene where he was changing channels by touching the screen, and Im pretty sure that was years ahead. Lots of things made no sense, but Carpenter has a knack forkeeping us interested in the characters and always directed with an underlying heart that made the characters relatable.
