This is possibly one of the most beautiful and painful films I've ever watched. I've just watched it and I'm sobbing rivers.
The script was so captivating. Brendan's portrayal as a loving teacher, a doting but distant father, a broken heart, a man so full of regret... He deserves all his accolades, as do the whole cast and crew.
