Celeste Rounkles

I absolutely love this series. If only more shows could sport such intelligent writing, exceptional casting and production. It's such a relief to watch a series that does not need to rely so heavily on gratuitous sex, violence and hyper-action to compensate for what it lacks in writing and story. I loved the tete-a-tetes between Dracula and Van Helsing. This proves beyond a doubt that horror genre can be intelligent, captivating and entertaining. The mood of Dracula was captured to perfection. I must say the cast was remarkable. I'm so frustrated with the industry's penchant for miscasting roles in movies / shows due to their misplaced beliefs that they must employ an "A" list actor / or a recognizable name to drive viewers. There is such a large pool of incredible talent available on both sides of the camera. Netflix clearly understands this. Refreshing is an understatement, when it comes to this show. Please, please use this series as a template for creating future series that far surpasses the mediocrity that so pervades the industry. This series will go down as one of the finest versions of Dracula.
