Obviously not as good as the first film but what sequel ever is? Very good though, of course it was , good actors, Tim Burton running it and Danny elfman doing the music just like the first one. They kept it very in line with the first film. Very much same level of effects gave it that nostalgic feel, and they kept the same traditions as the first one (opening portals through doors , stuff like that) they didn't try to make anything fancier that was established in the first movie. Watching it you feel like your back in the 90s again. I do wish they spent more time on Beetlejuice 's ex wife though as a character and with screen time. Overall good movie , fans of the first will appreciate this sequel.
