If you are a fan of history, you will be disappointed by the complete lack of insight, context, or detail. If you are a fan of movies, or just the general idea that you will be entertained, you will be baffled by Ridley Scott’s ability to create a nearly 3 hr long movie with no plot, character development, tension, story arch, continuity, or pacing. The only reason it got 2 stars was the production value. The visuals and battle scenes were breathtaking.
