I absolutely love this movie and cried a butt tonne. I love the songs, the acting, the characters, and the way its filmed as I feel like it makes the movie feel more honest and genuine. I loved how they made the colours more saturated and didn't use a hand held camera for the music scenes, because in my opinion it shows how musicals make things more perfect, and how in Selma's mind when she has all the choreographed dance moves and beautiful songs, her mind just makes everything a bit neater, a bit more stable. In short, this movie hits your heart in such a way it shatters. It is beautiful.
