The acting isn't great, and most of the actors seem like they wouldve been better suited as different characters in the show or not cast at all. They miss a few of the key moments and fill them in with nonessential story which seems silly considering the amount of information they could put forth in each hour long episode. The actor playing Iroh is just missing every aspect of the original character's personality that made him so well loved and is Iroh in name only. I was really looking forward to Bumi and Aang meeting as in the cartoon it is such an iconic moment, and was let down by what was filmed along with the actor tasked with bringing Bumi to life. Felt the same with Sakka and Suki meeting. Overall just seems to miss every mark they should've nailed flawlessly as the story was already written.
