The Weight of Ink has become a life-partner. To listen to this book, for audio-books I discovered during COVID, is sheer affirmation of the pen's capacity to liberate and to lighten. To liberate and to lighten life's pernicious ever-present existential loneliness, which dogs and dances and tries to deny hope and possibility. Rachel Kadish has, with her pen, with her imagination, and the intellect of her heart and the intellect of her mind, birthed a book overflowing with wisdom. I am awe-full each time I listen to it. And when I have read it, too, for this is also a must. The Tempest, my favourite play by The Bard, is a silent-speaking partner in this dance with words. #Sawbonna
