I came back to gaming after a 10 year break. I was happy at first, then came the seasons... each season cost money. This form of online gaming is toxic. Of course I want more, but in order to get more I have to devote obsurd amounts of time and/or money. A one time payment for a game is over. They have turned $60 into $180 (in my case). Good for them, for now, but I imagine enough people will get fed up like I am with all the updates. Not that anyone will care, because I'm sure they have enough money to live multiple lifetimes by now. I want to turn a game on and play, not stare at an update needed screen. I want the satisfaction of beating a game. All the updates and new guns keeps that satisfaction well out of reach, for those of us that live outside the game.
