(NO SPOILERS) I honestly don't get what other people are saying. This show was a fun journey with twists and turns that make you wonder what's gonna happen next. At first I thought this show was gonna be super predictable, but nothing that I thought would happen, actually happened. There are two storylines that go throughout the entire show. One that describes the backstory of Jade and Billie and how everything came to be with the Weskers and Umbrella. The other storyline describes what is happening in present day. Jade is in the present day with a daughter and maybe husband? She is doing research about the zeros (zombies) and how to fix the situation. In my personal opinion, the backstory is the better of these storylines. It beautifully describes 2 sisters finding out the truths of their lives and that they have been lied to. Its very satisfying seeing them uncover each part of the big picture. Although the present day storyline is good, it can get boring sometimes because it is essentially Jade running from Umbrella while doing research on the zeros. Now the not so great things. There are a lot of unanswered questions obviously for season 2, but because of all the hate this show is getting, there might not be a season 2, and coming from someone who has never played any of the games, that would be annoying to never figure it out. Regardless, the show still answers so many questions you have from the beginning. In the backstory, the teenage girls can be not so smart sometimes, which makes them unlikeable to some people. I personally don't have a problem with it, and I still adore the two main characters. In all, I didn't think this show stood out as an amazing, memorable, show like Stranger Things, but I would still watch it if I were you, especially if you haven't played any of the games. If you like post-apocalyptic, drama, and horror, this show is definitely worth your time.
