One of the most riveting works of television I have seen in a long time. This show examines complex themes of religious fanaticism, hypocrisy, bigotry, good vs evil, life and death…and relayed through well thought out sub-plot lines and developed characters. For those looking for a shock and awe horror this is not for you. I read somewhere else this described as a “smart horror” and that is the best way to put it. Numerous character monologues in my opinion serve the message this show is trying to relay…but some viewers with attention deficit and not expecting this might find themselves tuning out…I urge you to stick through it to the end, it’s worth it. Bravo to the writers, the producers and entire cast for this masterpiece.
