As an ex-Yugoslavian, Emma Thompson's portrayal of one was horrific, she clearly just did a bad russian impression, showing no nuance. I do not know from where did they pull out that lullaby but it is not an actual thing. Her pronunciantion of actual serbo-croatian/ bosnian words was also terrible, no where near the quality of what you would expect from an Emma Thompson level project. This was clearly a job for an actual ex-Yugoslavian actress, because the whole ordeal was just embarrassing, lacking any kind of soul.
