The show lacks any suspense. It was a drab piece of storytelling. There were countdowns to specific events and they were meant to incite some form of anticipation and fear but fell flat on its face. There was no antagonists for the story. If it was meant to be a space sci fi or disaster movie, then there were practically no stakes involved or the producers were unable to make us feel that the stakes matter. Even the post apocalyptic feel of the show was half baked. All the characters had no story arc and just served to fulfil specific troupes of the genre at a bare minimum.
