I've read all the books. And I wouldn't have thought anyone could make a movie or show out of this. The characters in the book are all solo and more a means of telling the main idea behind all of it. And I loved the books and still do. They changed the character set up in such a way that you can actually like them AND enjoy the brilliant idea behind trisolaris. I love it.

No need to read this book, if you're not planning to stay for the rest of the fractalverse I'd guess. But I still enjoyed the ending. It builds a mystery for the following books I'd assume. Please Christopher, make it worth it. Looking forward for more out of the fractalverse.
