100% agree with Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as Number 1 ranking! Whenever man arose and spoke of ONE God, he was faced with hardships, and persecutions. If the pagans, idol worshippers were SO peaceful people, why didn't these people allow people like Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) to peacefully worship ONE God. This whole dilemma that religion divides does not hold up because if idol worshippers Had No problem with others worshipping ONE God, then the history of Islam and Christianity would be very different. At least for Islam, there is NO compulsion. You cannot force any person to convert to Islam and killing any human being is akin to killing the entire mankind. If Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not stand up in self defense (which he was ordered by God, He did not stand up on his own will), he would have been dead by the hands of the idol worshippers. The question is that why did it matter so much to the idol worshippers that everybody follow their tradition of calling on multiple gods. What difference did it make it to them if others followed ONE God or if others wanted to believe in ONE GOD. It's the idol worshippers who were so staunch on their belief about their "gods" that they couldn't tolerate any other person speaking of ONE GOD. Prophets were sent to mankind as messengers to spread God's word so people can understand what was right from wrong. The biggest sin in Islam is committing shirk (associating others with God). And RIGHTLY SO, how would you feel if someone gives you sustenance and you go and praise/thank His enemy.. It was the intolerance of Idol worshippers that created massive persecutions and riots and people talk about blood shed in religion!!!! Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed by his actions on how there was NO forced conversion imposed on people of other faiths as the head of state. He showed by example that people were free to follow whatever religion they pleased under the Islamic Shariah Law. So, instead of pointing fingers at others, I would suggest that you read Quran and see for yourself on the message of peace for ALL (regardless of race, color, religion) presented in Quran. Please don't make judgments by looking at "Muslim leaders, or people". We know that no one is perfect and there is a huge campaign to malign Islam. This is a very typical tactic of an enemy. but let's be smart and stop spreading false propaganda and OPEN THE QURAN and READ for ourselves.
