Audience rating summary 3.1 24032 ratings Filter by 2 stars No diving in this pool. There's no depth. Save this for an unpaid viewing on Disney+ if you're a subscriber. If not, wait to get it on loan from your local library after it comes out, and go see Top Gun: Maverick again. Just got back from seeing this with my 17- and 18-year-olds... and we're just stunned at how underwhelming this movie was. My 17-year-old described it pretty succinctly as, "really just jokes, and most of them not funny, with punching in between." She said, "When I was younger, I used to look forward to every Marvel movie. These are just bad." My 18-year-old used more expletives. A couple of good things... I have to say Christian Bale played a great, at times creepy villain, Gorr the god butcher. Second, Taika Waititi uses some different and interesting filming techniques while the heroes fight Gorr on a small moon. But while Gorr was probably the most interesting character, he varied little--just slamming his sword in the ground, calling forth shadow creatures, and then striking his sword against good guy weapons. That's pretty much it. Other concerning issues: 1. Man, Thor's time with the Guardians of the Galaxy was wasted. I wonder what the storytellers behind Endgame envisioned for that team-up. Their time as a "team" fizzles before it starts... and Waititi definitely doesn't bring out the same in the actors that James Gunn does. Just as generic dialog as you can get. One has to ask, "Why was Thor even with these guys?" 2. There's just no depth to these characters. Viewers feel little, if any, connection to any of them. There is a hook to Jane Foster, but Natalie Portman's acting is akin to her Padme Amidala performance. After all he's been through, Thor regresses to the Homer Simpson-like character he was in 2011's Thor. 3. I'm not sure if Waititi knows who his intended audience here is. It's like he aims for kids with certain events in the end... but this Thor flick has more swearing, violence, and nudity than what we've seen before. If you're going to give us all that, how can you end with Thor (spoiler) bestowing his powers on whom he does? And, if Thor can do that, then why couldn't he grant his powers in the same way to the Asgardian parents, at the start of the movie, so they could prevent their kids from being taken??? And this leads to points 4 and 5: 4. It's a shame... once again we see the common thread in all Disney is putting out over the last couple of years: Lackluster story telling. It's a bunch of random, "You know what'd be funny/cool" moments strung together in the hope it will all gel. It doesn't. It. Doesn't. This is inexcusable considering the money and creative "talent" behind Disney and Waititi. The actors in this film were paid who knows how much for this sub-par creation. It's another rushed product, and I found myself thinking, "Now Disney's pushing Waititi to crank out a Star Wars trilogy? This movie shows the danger that could follow." Marvel Phase 4 continues to mostly disappoint...

AMAZING! Episode 3 was the best one by far! The way it changes from harmless comedy to tense, horror-like scenes, it can have you on the edge of your seat as well as in giggles. The acting is also incredible as well, especially Paul Bettany's and Elizabeth Olsen's acting which seems a bit over the top but it is the perfect acting for the show and its tone. I can't wait for what episode 4 has in store and I can't wait for the repurcussions that this show will have on phase 4 of the MCU. Edit: Ok, so I've seen episode 4 and 5 now and, oh, my god... They are so freaking good. Basically, Friday is what I live for, the rest of the week is just same old, but damn, is it good to have something to look foward to at the end of the week that is practically guaranteed to blow your mind. Anyways, ep 4 was cool, it was great to see Darcy and Agent Wu finally back in the MCU and there were a lot of great easter eggs littered around that brings the show more meaning. Ep 5, I would say was the best ep so far, since me being a HUGE Fox x-men fan, it was almost tear-jerking to see Evan Peters back as Quicksilver and basically guaranteed to show all his glory since after all, it is the MCU. I can't wait for the next ep and I can't wait for the finale which I know is gonna be absolutely INSANE! Edit #2: Ok so the finale comes out tommorrow and I have seen episode 6, 7, and 8 and wow, they are good. It's incredible that Marvel has managed to create a banger with each episode. Episode 6 was an awesome episode and it was amaing to see Evan Peter's Quicksilver in the episode since it's been awhile since I've seen him. It was also really cool to see all the superheroes in their comic accurate costumes, even if it was only a cheap halloween costume, it was cool that Marvel went and put that in. Episode 7 was one of the best episodes, parodying Modern Family and The Office, the shows that I used to watch as a kid, which was prob my favourite era that Wandavision has parodied so far. Also the Agatha Harkness reveal at the end was PERFECT. I kinda saw it coming but it was still suprising the way they executed it. Also, the Agatha All Along song is actually really catchy and it was stuck in my head for days after that episode. Episode 8, another GREAT episode filled with a lot of crying (mostly from me) and understanding since that episode kinda fit everything together going all the way back to Civil War. It was also great that we got to see Agatha's and Wanda's origin in the same episode, it was really an episode to connect the last puzzle pieces. Also, the White Vision at the end was awesome. I am super stoked for the Finale, where I'm assuming both of the visions will fight and both the witches will fight. I'm super excited for the finale and can't wait to see what happens :) Edit #3: I will say my Initial reaction was some disappointment mainly due to succumbing to fan theories. Rewatched it and the more it settles the more I love it. The story and it's focus and conclusion was kept in a manner speaking simple and straightforward. The story started and ended the same way,with Wanda. It was kept grounded while incorporating a bigger world. It was small and practical while simultaneously being big and fantastical. It kept it's focus and didn't wander. For the most part it ended in a way we all knew it would, but didn't want it, in a heartbreaking fashion. I suppose you could say that all our fan theories were similar to the hex, a means to avoid facing the inevitable. My only gripe about this episode was the whole Ralph Bohner thing, that was very dissapointing.

In one dialogue she is referred as a Bomb....indeed she looks a Bomb here Tabu.....as usual her acting is ace. Though her age looks catching up now, but her performance more than covers up for that The comedy department in charge.... Sanjay Mishra as bada pundit Asha Kalsekar is his wife Rajpal Yadav....where were you man, long time....he is at his best, just as we know him in Priyadarshan Sir films, in here as chhota pundit Kartik Aryan himself also has a good comic timing Rajesh Kumar also adds up the humour, in here as Kiara's uncle The director, Anees Bazmee after a few blunders ( Welcome Back, Pagalpan Overall, the movie is brilliant in all aspects. Bramhastra part one shiva Brahmastra is a movie about love. It is a movie which shows love is powerful than all the differnt weapons or instruments in the universe to end hate. To bring love and fight the evil is this what the film teaches us. Brahmastra movie takes reference of different instances od Hindu relgion in this film specially taking about Brahmastra, Brahma Dev, Dassera scene, Devi aarti and all the differnt examples from Hindu religion and cuture. Use of the word 'Kesariya' in a love song is alos one instance. Use of a Dev character which looks like Shiv Bhagwan is also an inference. Names of SHiva and ISha -the main characters from the film also have Hindu religoon reference. The Character Designs Are Fantastic, The Animation Is Beautiful, The Editing Is Very Nicely Done, I Watched This Movie I Loved This Movie. in Fact I Didn't Like This Movie As A Kid Because It Was Totally Lost To Me, But Now I Find It Interesting, It's Just A Story Of A Rat And A Human Finding Their Dreams. First and foremost, the animation in Ratatouille is absolutely stunning. The details in the characters, the scenery, and the food are all so well-crafted that it feels like you're watching a living, breathing world. The artistry on display in this film is truly remarkable. But beyond the visuals, Ratatouille also has a heartwarming story that is perfect for all ages. The idea of a rat who loves to cook might seem strange at first, but the filmmakers do an amazing job of making it not only believable but also inspirational. The film is all about following your dreams, no matter how big or small they may be, and it does so with such grace and charm. Additionally, the voice acting in Ratatouille is top-notch. Patton Oswalt brings so much depth and nuance to the character of Remy, and the supporting cast (including Jane Lynch, Peter Sohn, and Brad Garrett) all deliver fantastic performances as well. Overall, Ratatouille is a true gem of a film that deserves all of the accolades it has received. Whether you're a fan of animation or just looking for a heartwarming story, Ratatouille is a must-see movie that will leave you feeling inspired and uplifted.
