I'm a bigger sister just like Cat and i have a two-year old smaller brother . I could completely understand Cat's concerns about her brother. i felt like Amanda is absent on her children's lives and i was angry of her because she left them in island alone because of her job and finally wanted to make them leave it because her job has finished and she didn't want to be with her parents. this book shows us that relationship with parents are so different with relationships with grandparents. i was happy for Cat because she find new people how love and help her. the island looks like a heaven (a warm heaven!) i could obviously feel the sands, the sea and grandparent's house
