This series was brilliant. I think Kevin Bacon and the cast was brilliantly picked. I haven't seen Kevin bacon become so into his character as he did with this. it was thrilling, sad (in some parts) exciting, edgy and leaves you craving for more with each episode.
I think the role of Joe Carrol (James Purefoy) was brilliant. There was times when he was so scary, I had to turn away. The actor who played Mike, was brilliant too. I love how their friendship (between Mike and Hardy) unravelled during the series, they became so close ,they were like brothers. I think during Season 2 and going into Season 3, their relationship never faltered. I think to have and show that connection as the actors had, shown. I really did believe their relationship was important to show and have there as a foundation between the characters. It was their strength, but at times was a weakness by the criminals that captured them both to reel out the other. I want season 4 of this show, I think this is great plot with casting so fitted and brilliantly executed. Congrats to the series, the actors, crew and producers.
