I wanted to see what the handful of 1 star reviewers were complaining about and there weren't any to read so I thought I'd give others like me something to read. GREAT MOVIE, 10 stars!

Very funny movie, but not as funny as the angry one star reviews.

As someone who never read the books I thought it had promise from the beginning. The parallel worlds, spirit animals, and sense of magic were interesting. Unfortunately it was all downhill after that. They obviously tried to cram way too much into one movie leaving every single character superficial (and yet somehow strongly bonded to the MC) and every event rushed. It was just a bunch of questionable decisions and absurd action sequences that all turned out great. To top it off it ended without any resolution of the main plot. Awful.

Ok, God or some supernatural power is demonstrably killing sinners so the mob reaction is to sin harder and risk being a victim? How does that make any sense at all? Suspension of disbelief 0/10.
