Just finished watching Apocalypse: WWI and the poem In Flanders Field was quoted thus I found my way to this site for more information and to read the poem in entirety. Dulce et Decorum Est was in my head through all segments of the series. Studied this poem 38 years ago at UMBC in Dr William Edinger's survey class on English Literature. Imagery I can see as though I am there. And now having read In Flanders Field I see the poppies, the dead, the blood, smoke...hear the shouts, cries...
