This is an extremely thought provoking read with a relentless battering of Christianity. If you are Christian you could end up disillusioned from reading this book, though Nietzsche would say it’s a result of Christianity, not the book. This book picks apart the framework of Christianity which indirectly picks apart Western society which has been heavily influenced by Christianity. Nietzsche attributes elements of society to Christianity that I would never think to until reading this. Such as democracy, the idea all men are created equal, and the metaphysical.

An entertaining movie but a bit weird, too. Julia Roberts character is quite off putting. Her character is a mom that is disgusted by humanity and has a general hate for the masses though it’s never really mentioned why. It’s also a little disturbing the Obama’s had a large hand in the making of the movie, makes me wonder if they too hate people. The movie is an apocalypse type/cyber warfare event, keeps you on edge for pretty much the whole film without giving any information about what’s going on.
