I was in full anticipation to watch a new series that had a seemingly fresh plot to it! The first episode was a dud and I’m an easy sell too. The CGI was TERRIBLE! For an endless budget for special effects, they need to revamp that entire department! Hopefully episode 2 will make up for the first fiasco of an opening! I didn’t read any other reviews before posting mine but I believe that there are more people that think along the same lines as me. Brunette as the lead runs everywhere yelling “Run”, the irony ensues. The surgeon/SEAL/Ranger is going to sacrifice himself for his daughter’s greater good. His daughter is going to fall for the stoner with a sense of humor. The police woman is going to become righteous. The dad, still in present day LA, is going to figure it all out (based on his visions of the future/past). He’s going to somehow get through the hole and transport safely via drone to save those on the other side. The daughter with the prosthetic will cry a lot but she survive until the show is cancelled. The English guy with the gun will be eliminated on show number 2 for some odd reason, killer tree or a new unknown animal will surface. The FBI or whoever is in charge will fumble and look like the proverbial 3 Stooge operation as they fail with their technology and Ivy League scientists to a divorcée with visions! I’ll be watching tonight hoping that it’s a better product! This is basically LOST with the storyline and vision (pun intended) of Manifest in a reverse land hole 🕳.
