I have loved the show since the day it came on ....it is my go to morning with my cup of tea show. But I have to say I am not loving the new concept, the new team. There’s just no rapport between the three of them. The spontaneity and fun of Gayle Nora and Charlie and even John Dickerson must be irreplaceable because you have totally lost it with this trio. I have nothing against Anthony or Tony. But they’re just not having a rapport with Gayle. I do think that Anthony does not have hard news chops to take the role of Charlie or John. And I’m so tired of Tony putting in his last word on every single segment in order to let his audience know that he’s relevant and ready to fill the CBS this morning shoes. It’s just not clicking. I miss the interviews with hard news people conducted at the big table where all three were asking questions. I feel there’s a lot more one on one interviews. You messed with something that was successful and it shows. Am I going to stop watching probably not, because I can’t stand The today show and ABC this morning is just one big commercial for ABC entertainment. But this new concept is just not clicking. And as much as I love Gayle but she is so starstruck that her absence from the table as she does countless star interviews is becoming tiring. She’d be better off on Entertainment Tonight and I say that sadly because I am a big gayle king fan.
