The age difference between Eastwood and the character, Marta, is a bit ridiculous. The dialogue throughout is stiff. Some of the settings were nice and the plot had promise, but did not benefit from the pathetic miscasting

Typical example of how (especially in the 50's) Hollywood totally trashed good books with poor movies. In this one, nothing about the movie was any good. Phony settings, poor writing, poor editing, poor acting. Big zeros, across the board.
