Digitally “fitfo0die” Stephanie

Pales in comparison to the books, to such a degree as to make this movie worthless. The plot lines and events of the books which this movie purports to be based on were changed so drastically that to say it’s “based on the novels” is a joke. Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley together are phenomenal and I can’t imagine a scenario in which I don’t love their acting and depth of emotion - but that’s where it begins and ends for me. To have anticipated this movie for 3 years since reading the books, and to have it have been so cobbled together is a major disappointment.

Sorry, could not get through it. Paused it to see how much longer until it was over and saw another hour...couldn’t do it. Don’t care about the characters, doesn’t seem to have a plot other than religion born insanity which frankly we get enough of theses days in real life....
