Thumbs down on the directing, acting, script, music and the completely misplaced whole-cast group dance routine in the intro of each episode. A bizarre mix of soap style drama and a suspense thriller murder mystery. But I still kept watching though to see who did it 😆

The young boy actor portraying Kaan was great! I liked season 1 and the beginning of season 2, but then the episodes got progressively less credible and more violent, and the main characters seemed to behave irrationally by doing/saying things without really thinking it through. However, because of the suspense, I wanted to continue watching it anyway.

A romance drama, suspense thriller, police detective drama, murder mystery, mafia-style organised crime story - this show is a mix of everything and is very long (164 episodes on Netflix Australia) but the suspense at the end of each episode kept making me curious about the next episode, so I watched the entire series over several weeks. It was my first time to watch a Turkish TV series - although I sometimes thought there was a bit too much crying and melodrama, and too many kidnappings and found the older villain annoying, and some scenes were over the top (like that house of horrors scene), I actually couldn’t stop watching it when I had time, and found it strangely enjoyable on the whole and very different from anything I’ve watched before. Omer and Elif were a beautiful couple.
