Frank Joseph Zirbel

This is a seminal movie in my life. I first saw it via a student run film showing in a place called the Green Latern, on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. Madison, 1969. I didn't sleep that night of my first viewing. With EXTERMINATING ANGEL and his short with Dali, UN CHEIN ANDALOU, Bunuel's surreal vision and unique directing style grabbed me and never let go.
