A dark comedy about two friends who have a falling out in the small island community of Inisherin in the 1920’s.. This story is slow paced and the humour is so subtle at times that you need to watch closely .. I never laughed out right but I smiled a lot and raised my eyebrows quite a few times .. It is a story of assertion , passive aggression and a coming into one’s own by breaking out of the box people have ex placed you in . All of it set in a Idyllic misty coastal remote village , which only adds to the tension which slowly builds in this movie .. Well worth the watch
