i really really love this show, even as a teenager. It gives many important messages and i think will help lots of little kids to become better people. Personally, the show became much better (or you could just stay stepped up a level) once Amber and Sofia went to the mystic isles and she became a protecter, etc. From there the show just became a lot more interesting and advanced. I liked the episode where sofia became a mermaid for the very first time, because it was super cool seeing the entire underwater world. My absolute fav episodes were the last three. It really showed how far sofia has came, because she has to save her entire kingdom. It also gives the message to never lose hope, and that love is the strongest thing to exist. Also it gives the message that friends should stick together no matter what. I would absolutely recommend this show to anybody. However, there are two things i dont like. 1. the songs are cringy. Whenever they start to sing i simply fast forward. It instantly makes the show seem like a joke and seem so unrealistic. Who is going to spend 3 minutes singing while their kingdom and family is gettting attacked? and how are you going to come up with those lyrics on the spot? it would be much better without the songs. 2. where it ended. by saying this i dont mean i didnt like the ending, because i LOVED it, but i think it for sure shouldnt have ended for good there. i really wanted to see all of the kids going to their new different schools, that wouldve been so fun to see. i also really wanted to see how sofia continued her job as a protector and how her life would be while her family knew what her amulet could do and all of the other things shes been hiding. i just love this show so much and i feel really sad and disappointed that it just ended there, because i really wanted to see these things. this show is so close to my heart, i nearly cried at the end. all i want is for it too continue. there was so much potential. even with these things i still HIGHLY recommend the show though.
