After so many years of waiting and hoping, the movie finally arrived. Prepared with snacks and my significant other, we watched with excitement. Unfortunately, from our perspective as long time Five Night's At Freddy's fans, there seemed to be enormous plot holes and 'missing' lore. There are still so many questions left to be answered, and those that were have vague answers. After reading online posts, we expected so much more action and gore, yet we were disappointed to find that the movie had 'dumbed down' the levels in a way that seemed to lose the feeling of nostalgia after having played the games. Both my significant other and I expected a little moretouch to the character creation of the ghosts haunting the animatronics. Overall, it was a good movie, but we are sadly disappointed in the final production.
