There is very little point watching a film about a gargantuan lizard fighting equally preposterous, oversized entities and complaining that it is nonsensical. Much can be said about similar films of this genre but go watch it with an open mild, albeit it an empty one and enjoy the whimsical, non cerebral habadashery nonsense. Do we complain about superhero films in a similar manner, well I did. Investing in character development to and kill of half the cast and simply time warp to resurrect everyone. I digress, its a simple monster film filled with great fight scenes and little else. Did I enjoy the film, yes I did and you will too. Don't let the intellectual half of you put the mockers on it and let the younger, sillier you have a blast.
