Being an animal lover & having a rescue dog from Romania myself I really wanted to read this book. I really enjoyed reading the book, having a rescue dog myself you never really know about their life before they live with you. My dog came pretty much the same as kat. Skinny & scared so I really understand the love you have for her. It's when they start to realise they are going to be feed,loved & cared for & they let their guard down & love you back it just melts your heart. Would recommend this book to any animal lover.
