I have read the book close to 10 times, so when I attended the movie opening yesterday in Albuquerque I looked forward to seeing specific actions and hearing memorized lines from the book. I was thrilled that the screen play shared with the audience not only Garth Stein's exact words plus captured the essence of actions and relationships. Thank you to the screen writer and actors for achieving this.
