The first few seasons were entertaining, until it turned into an intense, very transparent woke propaganda that is completely unreal for the 1920s - 1930s, and outlandish even for today's audience.
The "contemporary" music in English is a regrettable choice. It annoys and distracts with its affectdness and undoes the otherwise carefully curated ambiance of the 1920s.
The costumes, the fast pace, the depth of character development and wide number of characters is what makes this entertaining.
Sadly at the end of Season 3 and beginning of Season 4, the propaganda takes over the entire plot and the show becomes unwatchable.
Like a lot of shows and movies that have been inoculated with the woke venom, this was the last season of the series, as one would anticipate whenever virtue signaling and propaganda take first place over competence and artistic integrity.
