Great drama, very much enjoyed it.

Bloody terrible. Too over produced and stylised. Been there, done that. Unrealistic characters, mixed with a backdrop of ‘little old Ireland’. I think the real history of what went on within this period of Irish / Catholic history should have been enough, without trying to rehash plots from so many things I feel like I’ve seen before. The whole thing is boring, and it shouldn’t be. The subject matter isn’t. The execution of it is. And surely Ireland has its own actresses without having to have people attempt the accent. And failing miserably.
