Not a masterpiece by any means, but I had a lot of fun. The battle scene animations are fantastic. The running gag made me lol.

Beautiful animation, poor characters, incoherent story, janky “camera” transitions. Feels more like a discovered sketchbook than a crafted film.

I loved this so hard! The writing was so good and all the actors were great. My one negative is the action cinematography was muddled, especially compared to how balletic the other Matrix movies (and John Wick movies) were. But even still, the little bits of writing expressed DURING the fight scenes kept the cinematography from becoming a problem for me. I was a huge fan of the first Matrix movie and thought 2 and 3 were fine but not great. 4 is honestly as good as 1 to me. Woot!!!
