Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this release. The cutscenes are different to what was advertised, I would not have bought the game if I had known the cutscenes looked the way they do. The graphics are not at all as impressive as they should be, the models even move with less fluidity than the original. How is that possible? Playing through the story, I stopped myself, whats the point? This adaption doesn't bring the game into 2020. At best it looks like it was made in 2010. It looks and feels like a cheap knockoff game to replicate the original. Makes sense considering the graphics were outsourced by a different company. Yup, the novelty wore off very quickly and I essentially payed $50 to play a crappier version of a game I already had... Except... it’s not the same game, is it? It’s been culled of a lot of features and “updated” with promises that fell flat. Thanks for turning my favourite childhood game into a soulless cash grab.
Also: If they wanted to re-adapt Warcraft for a new audience they should've either made Warcraft 4 or remastered Warcraft 2.
Warcraft 3 isn't that old in retrospect and didn't need to be updated. In fact, by tampering with custom games they probably lost half of the community. Don't fix what ain't broke. Whatever I'm out.
