I just saw that they were making one of my favorite books int a series i downloaded AMC just to binge ........i just got done with the first episode i can already see this will not do it justice, not by far ... I am almost angry enough to try and get another version made , with all the ritch beautiful History included . I was wondering how erotic to make the science when Charlotte seduces her own father right after that wonderfully macabre dinner they have in Haiti . And the old hag that was Julien's mother with all her bottled body parts. That's just a tidbit come on people this should have been done zooooo much better.
