Avatar Way of the Water was an absolute let down for me. 4.5/10 converts to 2.25/5 . The plot had 7 different directions to go down and indirectly chose none. The characters have unexplained abilities and talents and other than that lack no personality- and are hard to tel apart because of that. Stereotypes are played into, and one of my least favorite tropes was added in. “SURPRISE!! they're not really dead!!!” and “Actually they had a secret love child no one talked about in the first movie!!” This movie is solely respected for its incredible visuals- which makes sense, its a gorgeously detailed film and it deserves love on that part, but it felt like it was made in 1 year, pushed together randomly with no thought. It took years to write this story? So disappointed.
