While I think it’s important to understand the history of slavey, I’m tired of the storyline being about white suffrage. Do people realize the lasting impact that slavery has on the black community, black people across the world. We are still traumatized. We are still viewed by some people as less then human. We are still suffering. We are still judged based on the colour of our skin. Let’s make a series about the after mass. Let’s make a movie about how black people are sometime unconsciously still reliving and experiencing that trauma. It’s not ok that people are still profiting on our suffrage.
