You know, I honestly tried to like this show but wow, it is bad. Let’s put aside the fact they’ve been pushing this as an agenda driven show. The writing is terrible, it is low brow Scooby Doo type stuff, and saying that is probably insulting to the writers of Scooby Doo. The acting by most of the actors is just as bad as the writing. Take the title and the costume away, and you would never know this was a Star Wars related show, it is so far departed from anything that resembles Star Wars. Granted, there are some redeeming qualities such as Lee Jung-jae but for the most part the writing even makes him look bad. Watching this is like watching someone being racked on a medieval torture device and being slowly pulled apart. What really boggles my mind is the budget, 180 million …. Where did they spend it??? It certainly wasn’t on the writers or actors or the costumes which look like they were bought at the Spirit or Halloween. There are parts that make no sense at all and it’s almost a direct insult to the viewers intelligence. It looks and feels like a high school drama class production. .
