Shantaram is one of my favorite books. I was so excited to watch movie but so DISAPPOINTED when I watched first episode.
It has nothing with the book then names of characters and places.
As a movie it's good played but as a movie based on book it's nothing.
If you didn't read the book then watch it. But DONT WATCH if you read book.
