Most critics will say this movie isn’t all that great but I disagree as the main story was explained fairly well despite being very confusing in the main game. Sure some scenes weren’t accurate but for what it is I am happy that this did not turn out to be the generic jump scare “aah! I’m running away from danger! And spooky monsters!” Movie. I am so glad that this movie actually involved a lot of the lore and wasn’t just another scary movie for the sake of it. The characters did their role great and a lot of the emotions looked genuine and not just put on for the sake of being scared and helpless. The only parts that could have been better were little nitpicks like how the doors weren’t the same as in the original game or how William Afton didn’t run away from the animatronics/spirits and instead died proudly on the spot. But most of the movie was REALLY GOOD and I’m glad I payed to see it instead of waiting. I really hope another movie will be made for this and the poor reviews don’t stop another production!
