Torren Slipais

This movie was one of the most disappointing Marvel movies I’ve ever seen. The entire film was slow and boring with the plot ending simply explaining what we saw at the beginning of the film. There were so many scenes with almost no dialogue and filled with lazy shots of people driving and sighing a lot. Yawn. Plus the main character takes almost the whole film to realize what is happening even though she has multiple occurrences with her newly discovered gifts. Yawn. I’m not sure if the writer/director had any idea of what fans of these characters would actually want to watch, or maybe they were happy with making a slow burning drama that seems to have no clear target audience. Another yawn. Such a let down and would not recommend.

This movie was a total disappointment. The plot was weak and could have been written by a 10 year old. All the action scenes and scenarios were not believable due to them all coincidently being resolved way too easily. It’s hard to feel suspense and fear for the characters when you know they’re both going to survive, without a doubt. This idea had so much potential but unfortunately all we end up getting is a kids film with a great leading man who’s time has clearly been wasted. We almost walked out of the cinema before it ended. We decided to stay and it was great to hear that we weren’t the only ones with the opinions shared above.
