I recently read The Book By Michael C. Dooling and it was fasinating to follow Captain AAaron wood and his sea odyssey.I never realized how much work it takes to operate a majestic vessel like the the clipper ship The Monarch.The stress that is put on them in the open ocean is incredible.To follow the family who lived on the ship and with all their hardships,to finally reuniting and retire to enjoy their vinyards in Ca. But what I found most interesting is that is how Michael discovered Aaron woods Captains Journal and after Twenty years of research with his wife Joan he was able to piece together this fascinating Book.,Ed
