I think maybe Netflix added that phone conversation at the end to show how she isn’t a victim and that the point of the documentary was that she acted like a victim but obviously was not, plus showing her coldness. I agree with another comment that she was most likely taking advantage of him at the beginning but then got conned in return. She showed little empathy and seems self absorbed. Almost had me for a while though…
